Offering pathways to success
Hi my name is Joshua. I am 14 years old and I have global developmental delays. I love my school, playing drums and ten pin bowling. When I grow up I want to work outdoors like my brothers. My big family wants me to be the best I can be, so we are raising funds for my medical expenses, therapy, stimulation activities and educational aids.

My Story
Joshua suffered an acquired brain injury soon after birth. He underwent a home therapy program with Ian Hunter for 3 years which resulted in Joshua being able to reach his age appropriate milestones in movement, vision and hearing. Joshua's challenges continue to be his speech and cognitive abilities. He is doing extremely well at his Special Education school. His teachers commented that he has come out of his shell this year and they are very pleased with his progress. Our expectations of Joshua are increasing each year as continue to offer him pathways to succeed.
My Needs
Joshua has the ability to do almost any activity that is put to him. He does need more intense time with each activity. We would like to provide additional lessons in speech and music therapy and movement activities with a paediatric physiotherapist. These activities will improve Joshua's confidence and self esteem.

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. The Developing Foundation commits 90% of funds raised by or donated to our team, to these unmet needs. The remaining 10% is used by the charity to cover credit card charges, administration and support.
